Requirements & Materials

Prerequisites

Undergraduates 

Major in a chemical, physical, biological sciences and approval of advisor (determination of sufficient background knowledge, competence and commitment). Successful completion EHS mandated classes Laboratory Safety 101, Right to know and Bloodborne Pathogens. 

Postgraduates 

Approval of advisor or Primary Investigator (determination of sufficient background knowledge, competence, and commitment). Successful completion EHS mandated classes Laboratory Safety 101, Right to know and Bloodborne Pathogens. 

Employees 

Approval of Primary Investigator (determination of sufficient background knowledge, competence, and commitment). Successful completion EHS mandated classes Laboratory Safety 101, Right to know and Bloodborne Pathogens. 

Faculty/Prof. 

Interest and Commitment to complete 3 – 4 two-hour sessions. Successful completion EHS mandated classes Laboratory Safety 101, Right to know and Bloodborne Pathogens.
