Language Institute Receives 10-Year Reaccreditation
Intensive English Program earns top distinction by nation's leading accrediting body
This April, Georgia Tech Language Institute (GTLI) received 10-year reaccreditation for its Intensive English Program from the Commission on English Language (CEA). This outstanding achievement marks the incredible quality of the Language Institute as well as the remarkable effort of its leaders to demonstrate and uphold that quality, including participation in reaccreditation training, submission of a self-study report, hosting a site visit, and responding to the site reviewers’ report, all adhering to CEA’s extensive and thorough standards.
GTLI’s Intensive English Program (IEP) has helped thousands of people around the globe “create their next” and reach their English-speaking goals. Since the program’s founding in 1958, it has served learners from over 100 countries. In addition to its 20 hours of core classes per week, IEP offers individualized administrative and academic counseling, both on- and off-campus housing assistance, highly experienced faculty, and the exceptional resources and facilities of a world-renowned university.

The Georgia Institute of Technology Georgia Tech Language Institute Intensive English Program is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation for the period April 2020 through April 2030 and agrees to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language Programs and Institutions. CEA is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency for English language programs and institutions in the U.S.
